purpose

After hearing William Glaubers opinion about daily blogs having no real point I decided this post would be about movies. Its too late to change the random aspect of my blog now so in his honor I will write about all the movies I watched this weekend because I was bored out of my mind. I had the opportunity to leave campus this weekend and I should have because there was nothing to do. It was also gorgeous on Sunday and I could have gone to the pool with my family. Instead I was here doing laundry, homework and watching movies. Great. Saturday afternoon I watched the new James Bond movie Casino Royale. Let me start off by saying the new guy they got is nothing like Pierce Brosnan who I adored. The new guy is just not very attractive. I also thought the movie just dragged on forever. I think at least a half and hour could have been cut out of the movie. Then Saturday evening I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on the Disney Chanel. There is really only one word to describe it...creepy. It is so awkward and is nothing compared to the original. Why must Hollywood always try to remake the classics? Sunday afternoon I watched 27 Dresses. This was probably my favorite of the weekend just because I love chick flicks. It was decent but predictable. Sunday night I watched Oceans 13 which I have to say was better than Oceans 12 but not Oceans 11. I liked the storyline behind the movie I just felt the beginning was slow and it wasn't very comical. So that was my movie weekend. I had fun just hanging out with my friends and watching movies but I hope this weekend is more entertaining.
